Texas Bonded Title Service
Done-for-you bonded title packets — serving all of Texas
English · Español

Bought a vehicle with no title in Texas?

You can't register it, insure it, or sell it until it's titled. We prepare your complete bonded title packet, arrange your surety bond, and walk you through both office visits — so the state issues your title.

Start — $199 Service Fee
Free eligibility check first. If your vehicle doesn't qualify, we tell you before you pay anything.

What it costs — one flat fee, no surprises

$199 flat service fee (that's our pay)

Typical total for a vehicle valued under $10,000: about $350–$460 all-in, depending on the bond premium for your vehicle's value.

How it works — 3 steps

Step 1 — Free check + your packet. Send us your vehicle details. We check whether it qualifies (lien, salvage, and stolen-vehicle problems stop a case — we check first, free). Then we prepare your complete application packet: Form VTR-130-SOF, your statement of facts, and your evidence of ownership, ready to file.
Step 2 — One visit to TxDMV. You file the packet at a TxDMV Regional Service Center with the $15 state fee. The state reviews it and issues a Notice of Determination stating your bond amount (usually 1–3 weeks). Send us a photo of it.
Step 3 — Bond + county filing. We arrange your surety bond (usually issued in 1 business day). You take the bond and packet to your county tax office within 30 days — your title is issued, marked "Bonded." After 3 years with no claims, it converts to a clean title.

Most cases finish in 4–6 weeks. That clock is the state's processing time, not ours — your packet leaves us ready to file.

✅ You likely qualify if:
  • You live in Texas and the vehicle is in Texas
  • You bought it (or inherited it) and have some proof — bill of sale, receipt, or cancelled check
  • The vehicle is complete (body, frame, and motor)
  • It's not reported stolen
❌ A bonded title does NOT work if:
  • The vehicle is salvage or nonrepairable ("junked")
  • It's an abandoned vehicle
  • There's a lien less than 10 years old and no lien release
  • Ownership is being fought over in court

Not sure which side you're on? That's exactly what the free check is for — message us before you pay.

Our promise

If TxDMV denies your case because of an error in paperwork we prepared, we refund your $199 service fee in full. No fine print. And the state — not us — issues your title, so you can verify every step with TxDMV yourself.

Straight answers

Are you a law firm or a bond company?
No. We are a document preparation service. Your bond is issued by a licensed surety agency we arrange for you, and your title is issued by TxDMV and your county.

Do I have to visit the offices myself?
Yes — the state requires the vehicle owner to file. Our job is that you walk in once, with a complete and correct packet, and walk out done.

What if I have no bill of sale at all?
Tell us in the free check. Some cases can still work with other evidence — we'll tell you straight if yours can't.

Can you do trucks, motorcycles, and trailers?
Yes — the bonded title process covers cars, trucks, motorcycles, and most trailers titled in Texas.
